We will mull appropriate action over rejection by Centre: Patnaik

Refusing to relent to the Central environment ministry's rejection of Vedanta's plan of mining bauxite in Orissa, State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said his government would contemplate appropriate action after examining the complete order. Earlier on Tuesday, Jairam Ramesh led environment ministry rejected the plans of Vedanta saying that it violated Environment Protection Act, Forest Conservation Act, and the Forest Rights Act.
