Weavers in Maharashtra gear up for CWG

As national capital New Delhi is gearing up for the upcoming commonwealth games…other states are also not lagging behind. Weavers in Maharashtra at the Hatkarga Saree Centre in Jhandara district are busy making silk sarees to tap the market potential during the mega event as these sarees, would be put on sale during the Games. New Delhi is preparing to host more than 100,000 foreign visitors and an equal number of domestic tourists during the October 3-14 event. The 12-day sporting extravaganza will be India's biggest sporting event since the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi.
