West Bengal govt. misusing central forces: Mamta Banerjee
Updated on Dec 23, 2010 08:16 pm IST
Railway Minister and Trinamool Party chief Mamata Banerjee accused the CPI-M led West Bengal government that it has misused the security forces sent to flush out the Maoist ultras from Lalgarh district. Addressing mediapersons in Kolkata on Wednesday, she said that despite several complaints against the alleged atrocities perpetuated by central forces against the common people, still no action has been taken on the issue by the central government. According to media reports earlier in the day, Banerjee had threatened to withdraw support from the Congress party led central coalition government.
