What do elections hold in store for Etawah?

The elections come as an opportunity in the hands of the electorate to decide their fate for the next five years. However, locals in Etawah district of poll bound Uttar Pradesh lament the fact that legislators have ruled the district one after the other, but their basic problems remain far from solved. Infrastructure development, employment and advancement of higher education remain top priorities for the voters here, but they have hardly caught the attention of local leaders. However, what has further ailed Etawah is the fact that politicians have used religion and caste to woo voters.
