Updated on Oct 02, 2014 05:10 pm IST
Dr. Sita Bimbrahw has been teaching students how to spin the charkha and drawing the yarn at Gandhi Bhawan for a few years now. Endorsing Gandhian principles and aiming to inculcate similar values in her students, she gives examples from her life while teaching the art. Passion for teaching charkha is nothing new for the 75-year-old, who has taught the art to former PM Jawaharlal Nehru, V P Singh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Morarji Desai, among others.
