Woman commits suicide over harassment by in-laws

A woman committed suicide by jumping into a canal at Pathankot in Punjab as she was troubled due to repeated harassment by her in-laws. The woman, identified as Akansha Malhotra, is the daughter of a senior Punjab government official.
