Women should avoid night shifts: Vijay Bahuguna

In wake of the rise in crime against women, Uttarakhand chief minister, Vijay Bahuguna has suggested a rather odd solution, that women should avoid doing night shifts. Bahuguna, while speaking to mediapersons in Dehradun said that women should not work late night. Meanwhile, main opposition, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the state chief for the remark stating that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi should look into the matter and pull up Bahuguna for making such a remark.
