Karnataka chief B. S. Yeddyurappa on Saturday slammed the state's opposition parties, the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) for attacking his ministers, Janardhana and Karunakara Reddy, without any substantial proof in the controversial illegal mining row. The state chief said this after his meet with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Home Minister P Chidambaram, and BJP President Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi.Yeddyurappa also gave the details about his meeting earlier in the day with the Prime Minister over the issue. A recent Lokayukta report on illegal mining has provided enough fodder to the opposition to take on the ruling party in the state.
