Yuvraj Singh

Affectionately called “Yuvi” and well known for his part-time left-arm orthodox spin, this left handed batsman Yuvraj Singh has many times shown his match winning abiliy. Yuvi is also the best fielder and takes charge of fielding captaincy. Born on 12 December 1981, in a Punjabi family from Chandigarh, Yuvi made his debut in Team Indian in ODI debut against Kenya at Nairobi in 2000 at the ICC knock out Trophy. He was a part of India's title winning ICC U19 CWC team in 2000. He is the one who has struck six sixes off one Stuart Broad over at the ICC WT20 2007. He scored a quick fire 84 off 82 balls in his 2nd ODI, against a quality pace attack from bowlers like Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie.
