Iran’s neighbour in chaos: Baloch rebels devastate Pakistan, dozens dead in largest attacks in years

Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province was rocked by the deadliest wave of militant attacks in years, with coordinated overnight assaults leaving nearly 130 people dead, including soldiers, militants, and civilians. The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for launching simultaneous strikes across at least nine cities, including Quetta, Gwadar, Mastung, Noshki, and Panjgur, targeting security forces, police, and government sites. The military said 92 militants were killed during intense sweep‑and‑clear operations, while 15 security personnel and 18 civilians—among them women and children—also died. Watch for more.
