‘BJP deliberately targeting Mamata Banerjee in WB’: Mayawati
Updated on May 16, 2019 02:43 pm IST
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of targeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress. The BSP chief called it a 'conspiracy' by the Bharatiya Janata Party. She said, “It is clear that PM Modi, Amit Shah and their leaders are conspiring and targeting Mamata Banerjee. This is a very dangerous and unjust trend and one which doesn't suit the PM of the country.” Earlier on Wednesday, the Election Commission banned campaigning in West Bengal from 10 pm on Thursday.
