‘First protest, now me-too’: Modi mocks Congress’ 6 surgical strikes claim

A day after the Congress claimed that six surgical strikes were carried out during the United Progressive Alliance government's tenure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mocked the party. PM Modi said that the main Opposition party had initially dismissed the September 2016 surgical strike, then opposed it, and then eventually come around to saying 'me too, me too'. A day earlier, Congress had accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of appropriating credit and politicising the armed forces.
