Mayawati campaigns for Mulayam in UP, says he’s ‘real leader of backwards’

Sharing a stage after 24 years, BSP chief Mayawati and SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav appealed to the voters of Mainpuri to support the 'mahagathbandhan'. Mulayam thanked Mayawati for supporting his party in times of need. In response Mayawati called the SP founder a true leader of the backward community, while labelling Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'fake'. The Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal have allied for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
