‘PM Modi is modern incarnation of Aurangzeb’: Congress’ Sanjay Nirupam

Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, referring him as the modern-day Aurangzeb. Speaking to reporters in PM Modi's constituency Varanasi, Nirupam said, “I feel that PM Modi is a modern-day Aurangzeb. He has succeeded in destroying those temples which the people of Banaras defended even during the peak of Aurangzeb's cruel regime. I condemn the modern day Aurangzeb.” Varanasi will vote in the seventh phase on May 19.
