‘Will double 2014 tally from North-East’: Ram Madhav dismisses NRC row

In an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times' National Political Editor, Sunetra Choudhury, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Ram Madhav, dismissed the possibility of his party's electoral chances being hurt in the North-East due to the controversies over the National Register of Citizens and the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Madhav confidently claimed that the BJP would actually end up doubling its tally from the region in the Lok Sabha, as compared to the 2014 results. He also said that his party would be able to convince its allies about the benefits of the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Watch the full video for more.
