Navjot Kaur Sidhu had organised public meetings in anticipation of a ticket. In the interview, Navjot Kaur Sidhu also spoke on Pawan Bansal's nomination from Chandigarh. Husband Navjot Singh Sidhu also spoke about the matter. He said that he stands by her wife although he wasn't aware that his wife was applying for Amritsar.
