Making sure tuberculosis patients take their pills is crucial. Skipping a dose can lead to a drug-resistant strain. Usually patients must see a nurse daily to take their medication. But new apps are helping people track whether or not they have taken their medication on time and with the help of this new app now they can use their phones, saving time and money. The apps use selfie-style videos to make sure patients take their treatment medication. But some technology experts are worried about privacy and data security.
