A war of words broke out between the BJP and JDU combine and the opposition RJD and Congress over the chaos that erupted in the Assembly on Tuesday during the over the Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021. While the Congress accused the government of stifling dissent and giving overarching powers to the state to make arrests, the Chief Minister in a statement questioned the conduct of the opposition members who created ruckus. Videos posted by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav showed RJD MLAs being dragged by the police. Some of the MLAs were reportedly also injured in the ruckus in the Assembly premises.
