'Are UP Muslims prisoners?': From Ayodhya, Owaisi launches UP poll campaign

• AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi sounded the poll bugle and revealed his party’s plans for the upcoming UP Assembly elections. Owaisi accused political parties, SP and BSP in particular, of using Muslims as a vote bank and not giving them their fair share in governance. The AIMIM will contest UP elections in an alliance with Om Prakash Rajbhar’s SBSP. Owaisi cited data and said that despite 70% of Muslims voting for the alliance of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party in 2019 assembly elections, the community did not achieve anything.
