- Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad attacked congress leader Rahul Gandhi over vaccine shortage charge. RS Prasad, in a series of tweets, countered Rahul Gandhi’s vaccine shortage claim. The union minister also asked why Rahul has not yet taken the vaccine. This comes after Rahul Gandhi earlier attacked PM Modi over ‘tika utsav’. Rahul wrote a letter to PM Modi over vaccine procurement and distribution. “Shortage of vaccine is a grave issue amid rising covid cases. Not utsav, is it right to risk Indian citizens and keep exporting vaccines? Central government should help all state governments without any bias. We all have to stand together to beat the pandemic,” he said. Congress' Randeep Singh Surjewala responded to Prasad's tweetstorm against Rahul. He said that Congress would continue to lobby for public good amid the second wave of Covid-19 crisis.
