BJP leader Rakesh Pandita killed by terrorists in Tral; condolences pour in

- BJP councillor Rakesh Pandita, who was the chairman of the Tral Municipal Committee, was shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday. The BJP leader who resides in Srinagar and has been provided with two PSOs was on a visit to Tral when he was attacked. Police said that the two personal security officers were not accompanying him during the visit. This is the third killing of a councillor in Kashmir this year. On March 30, militants had stormed the office of the Sopore Municipal Council and killed two councilors. Several top political leaders tweeted to express their condolences and condemn the terror attack. Watch the full video for all the details.
