Boost for Indian Armed Forces; Made-in-India Pralay missile successfully tested

India successfully flight tested indigenously-developed, surface-to-surface missile ‘Pralay’ off the Odisha coast. The solid-fuel, battlefield missile, launched from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island, met all the mission objectives. It followed the desired quasi ballistic trajectory & reached the designated target with high degree accuracy. The missile developed by DRDO is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from the Indian ballistic missile programme. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and associated teams for the success.
