Watch: Robbers try to loot cash van in Bihar, alert guards thwart attempt

• Two bike-borne men opened fire on security guards outside a bank in Bihar's Muzaffarpur. Miscreants attempted to loot a cash van stationed outside Central Bank, Puraini Bazar branch. The alert security guards, however, thwarted the loot attempt. One of the security guards was injured following the incident. According to the guards, one of the miscreants also suffered bullet injuries. Muzaffarpur SP (City) Rajesh Kumar said, “Two miscreants attempted to loot a cash van stationed outside a Central Bank branch. A guard suffered injuries, while one of the miscreants was also injured. Police are investigating the matter, the van was carrying ₹88 lakh cash. The money is safe but the guard is under treatment at the hospital and is safe. Police have taken it as a challenge, the miscreants will be arrested soon.”
