CBI steps in to probe Mahant Giri's death; Anand Giri, 2 others in custody

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) stepped in to probe the death of Mahant Narendra Giri. CBI took over after the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh recommended a probe by the Central agency. Mahant Giri was found dead on September 20 in Prayagraj. It was alleged that he died by suicide as his disciples found him hanging from the ceiling. The top Hindu seer, who was also the President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (AKAP), left a suicide note naming three people. Police arrested Anand Giri and two others named in the suicide note and sent them to judicial custody. Watch the full video for more details.
