China’s PLA abducts 17-yr-old boy from Indian territory in Arunachal: Officials

An Arunachal youth was allegedly abducted on Tuesday by China’s Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA), said Officials. Police informed that the 17-year-old was identified as Miram Taron, a native of Zido village in Upper Siang district. The district authorities said the incident took place when Taron along with others were hunting in the border area. “The youth was among a group of local hunters. Other members of his group who were able to escape informed us that he was abducted by the PLA from the Indian side,” Shashvat Saurabh, deputy commissioner of Upper Siang, said.
