Chinese PLA stops Indian graziers in eastern Ladakh’s Demchok amid LAC tensions

- Chinese PLA reportedly stopped Indian graziers in eastern Ladakh. The Indian graziers were stopped from moving ahead near the Line Of Actual Control (LAC) in the Demchok region of eastern Ladakh recently, news agency PTI reported. This incident is said to have taken place on August 21. However, there was no face-off or confrontation between the Indian and Chinese forces in view of the incident. After the incident came to light, the Indian military commanders held talks with their Chinese counterparts to resolve the issue. The area where the incident happened is close to the friction points on the LAC where the two countries have been in a standoff since 2020. Watch this report for more.
