- Chorus for former Cong President Rahul Gandhi to take back the reins of party grows louder. After Rajasthan, Gujarat & Chhattisgarh units pass resolution to make Rahul as party chief. Justifying the resolution, Chhattisgarh CM said that while there are reports that Rahul is unwilling to take charge, there is nothing he has indicated to this effect himself. Fresh support for Rahul Gandhi comes at a time when he is leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. This is party’s largest mass outreach programme in many decades. As per Cong, the response on ground to Rahul's yatra has been overwhelming. The Congress president election reportedly will be held on October 17. Watch this report to know more.
