- Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu claims he was attacked when he visited the farmers' protest at Delhi's Singhu border. Bittu reportedly said that people ambushed him like 'guerrilla warriors' and that they were armed with 'sticks and other weapons'. He claimed that some elements who are being paid ₹80 lakh to ₹1 crore are waving Khalistani flags at the protest sites and indulging in such activities. He said that it was impossible for farmer leaders to verify the identities of so many people. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that while many people see farmers as India's weakness, he sees them as the nation's strength.
