Dalai Lama bats for India-China talk ahead of Leh visit; Changes stand on Tibet?

• The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has sent across a message for China from India ahead of his month-long stay in Ladakh. He now said that he doesn't want independence for Tibet from China and wants autonomy for Tibet and the preservation of its Buddhist culture. Meanwhile, his visit to Ladakh is likely to upset China amid a prolonged standoff along the LAC in Eastern Ladakh.
