Delhi inundated after record rain; waterlogging woes, traffic overwhelm city

Heavy showers continued a day after Delhi received the highest Sept rainfall in 19 years. Over the last two days, Delhi-NCR has witnessed heavy downpour since early morning. Several areas witnessed waterlogging and traffic snarls for the second day in a row. Waterlogging includes Azad Market underpass, Ring Road, ITO, AIIMS among others. Waterlogging also resulted in traffic congestion on several roads stretches in the city. Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for Delhi-NCR region.
