Gadkari Out, Yediyurappa In: Rejig in BJP Parl Board Decoded I HT Insight

- The BJP threw a surprise this week after reconstituting its highest decision-making body, the parliamentary board. In a major reshuffle, the saffron party has dropped some of the significant names from the board. Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, Madhya Pradesh CM Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were the prominent names that were dropped. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, widely expected to make it to the top body, was left out. However, in surprise additions, the party inducted former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, former Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal & others.
