Gujarat: Bus collides with SUV in Navsari killing nine people; PM Modi expresses grief | Watch

At least nine people were killed and more than a dozen injured in a horrific collision between a bus and an SUV early Saturday morning in Gujarat's Navsari district. According to PTI, eight of the nine people traveling in the SUV and the luxury bus driver died on the spot. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the accident and announced a compensation of ₹2 lakh each to the deceased's next of kin and ₹50,000 to those injured. Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and several others also offered condolences.
