There is a major escalation in Karnataka over Hijab row as protests and counter-protests have spread across the state. Karnataka Chief Minister has ordered the closure of schools and colleges for next three days in a bid to defuse the tensions. A major faceoff erupted on multiple campuses between Hijab-clad Muslim girls and right-wing students and activists today.
