A senior BJP leader in Karnataka has slammed his own party's govt over ban on Muslim vendors in temple fairs. BJP MLC AH Vishwanath hit out at CM Basavaraj Bommai for defending the ban imposed by Hindutva groups. Vishwanath said the Bommai govt was 'merely indulging in religious politics' by not speaking up against the ban. BJP MLC's statement came in the wake of ban on Muslim vendors from pitching stalls outside temples. The ban was announced verbally and through posters and banners in Udupi, Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada and Shivamogga. Watch the full video for more.
