IAC Vikrant: Made-In-India aircraft carrier to be commissioned on Sept 2 | Facts

- Marking the beginning of a new era in India's Naval capabilities, PM Modi will commission the country's first indigenous aircraft carrier - IAC Vikrant into the Navy as INS Vikrant, on September 2. Vikrant will be formally inducted into the Indian Navy, at an event at the Cochin Shipyard Limited, where the vessel was built. Vikrant brings to the end a long wait for India's first indigenous aircraft carrier. With nearly 76% indigenous components and parts, the Vikrant is a towering symbol of India's shipbuilding capabilities. Watch this video to know more about Vikrant.
