IAF deploys Cheetal helicopters in Kargil to rescue Italian mountaineer

• The Indian Air Force has deployed Cheetal helicopters to rescue a stranded Italian mountaineer in Kargil. The Italian national Federico Nicoli has been stuck atop Mountain Kun in the Kargil sector at the height of 5000 meters. Last evening, the Italian embassy reached out to the Ministry of External Affairs to rescue its national. The MEA then reached out to the Ladakh administration which immediately called the IAF to rescue the Italian mountaineer. Watch this video to know more.
