Watch: How IAF’s acquisition of 24 Mirage 2000 jets will bolster fighter fleet

Indian Air Force is set to acquire 24 second-hand Mirage fighter jets made by Dassault Aviation, as per reports. The Mirage 2000 will help IAF boost its existing fighter fleet as the aircraft are getting upgraded. There is an immediate need for 300 critical spares. IAF’s 35-year-old Mirage fleet was used during the 2019 Balakot operation. IAF purchased around 50 fourth-generation mirage C and B fighters in 1985. Watch the full video for more details.
