India built 2088 km roads along China Border in 5 years; Govt informs Parliament

- India has ramped up its road infrastructure projects along the Line of Actual Control amid the ongoing Ladakh standoff. The govt in its written reply informed Rajya Sabha about the road projects in border areas. Minister of state for defence Ajay Bhatt has said that the Border Road Organisation has constructed 2,088 km of all-weather roads to improve the connectivity to forward areas.
