'India doing very well': Top IMF official hails amid dim view on global growth

- IMF has projected a dim view on global growth rate, but has praised India economy for 'doing very well'. Top IMF officials say India’s growth story remains on top among advanced and developing economies. The international body noted that inflation in India still remains above the target of the central bank. When everyone is slowing down in terms of economic growth, India has not remained unimpacted, but is doing better and is in a relatively bright spot compared to other countries, IMF has said.
