India evacuates 219 students from Ukraine; Operation Ganga's 1st flght lands

India evacuated 219 citizens, most of them students from war torn Ukraine as part of its ‘Operation Ganga’. The first flight took off from Romanian capital Bucharest & landed in Mumbai at 7:50 pm. Upon arrival, Union Minister Piyush Goyal welcomed the Indian citizens and said that the government won’t stop until all have returned. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar took to Twitter to welcome Indian nationals who returned to the motherland. The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has advised its citizens not to move to any of the border posts without coordination with the MEA. Watch the full video for more.
