India made a strong pitch for the permanent UN Security Council seat while delivering the G4 statement on the issue. India's permanent envoy to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj highlighted that longer the reform is stalled, the greater its deficit in representation. She stressed that the current UN body doesn't reflect the geo-political changes.
