Former premier of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider, has asked Pakistan to take a backseat and allow Kashmiri leadership in Occupied Kashmir to reach out to international community on the issue of Kashmir. Haider told Pakistani PM that Pakistan should let Kashmiri people plead their case before the world as their voices matter and would be heard internationally. He said Pakistan's currently Kashmir policy will not make any difference to India that he claims is seeking to change the demography of Kashmir in the aftermath of Article 370 abrogation.
