In a clear demonstration that indulgence in terrorism will lead to serious ramifications, the United Nations Security Council excluded Pakistan from a meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. This occurred despite Islamabad's attempts to be a part of the deliberations. The UNSC is currently chaired by India. The Imran Khan government cried foul over exclusion from a meeting which saw damning revelations regarding Pakistan's support to Taliban terrorists currently wreaking havoc in Afghanistan.
