India's Covid tally jumps 90% in a day; U.P Govt makes masks compulsory in NCR

• India recorded a massive jump in its daily covid infection tally triggering fear of the 4th wave. As per health ministry, there was 90% jump in the cases as 2183 new infections were reported in the last 24 hours as compared to 1150 yesterday. 214 new deaths were also reported in the last 24 hours including a backlog of 212 deaths in Kerala. Delhi and U.P also recorded a surge in Covid cases. Yogi govt has made wearing masks mandatory in 6 NCR districts and Lucknow. Delhi Disaster Management Authority will hold the crucial meeting on April 20 to reframe guidelines. Watch this video to know more.
