Iran's revolutionary guards launch artillery attack on militants in Iraq I Watch

• Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) launched an artillery attack on militant bases in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq. According to Iranian state television, the IRGC targeted the 'headquarters of anti-Iranian terrorists', in reference to Kurdish rebel groups based there. Iran has blamed the Iranian Kurdish dissidents for involvement in the ongoing anti-regime protests in the country.
