J&K: Lashkar terrorist killed, 2 security personnel injured in Kulgam encounter

• One terrorist killed, two security personnel injured in an encounter in J&K's Kulgam. The overnight encounter was triggered by terrorists opening fire on a BSF convoy. Officials informed that the exchange of fire also left two civilians injured. IGP Kashmir said a search operation was launched after the terrorist was gunned down. Officials added that all the injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment. On Thursday, the IGP had said the two trapped terrorists belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba. Terrorists had opened fire on the BSF convoy on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Police & Army had cordoned off the area, there were no injuries in the initial attack.
