Kinnaur landslide: ITBP rescue on cam; 40 feared trapped; PM Modi assures help

- A major landslide was reported from the Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. The incident is feared to have buried more than 40 people under the debris. A HRTC bus, a few cars, and a truck reportedly came under the rubble as a part of a hill collapsed. Teams of ITBP, NDRF, Indian Army, and Local police were rushed to carry out rescue operations. PM Modi & Home Minister Amit Shah called Himachal CM Jai Ram Thakur to assure help in rescue operations. Reckong Peo-Shimla highway has been blocked due to the landslide.
