K'taka Cong worker dies as Siddaramaiah's b'day bash triggers traffic chaos

- Congress stalwart and former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's birthday bash has led to massive traffic congestion for miles in Davanagere district. Traffic snarls for as long as six kilometres were seen on the Pune - Bengaluru highway in the district as people celebrated the Congress stalwart's 75th birthday. A Congress worker even got killed after his vehicle toppled near Badami. The victim, Prakash Badiger, was on his way to attend birthday celebrations of former chief minister Siddaramaiah at Davanagere. After the unfortunate demise, Congress appealed to its supporters to be careful. However, netizens have lashed out at the party for celebrating while people are suffering.
