Landslides, floods, rescue ops; rain wreaks havoc in Maharashtra districts

• Heavy rainfall battered the districts of Maharashtra on July 22 and July 23. In Raigad district, five people died due to landslides and floods as four incidents of landslides were reported. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team was seen shifting people from Chikhali in the Kolhapur area to a safer location. Around 40 villages were reportedly cut off in the rain-hit Kolhapur district. Parts of Ratnagiri district were also partially submerged in water. Watch the full video for more details.
