Maha Dy CM Ajit Pawar faces income tax heat; assets worth ₹1,000 crore seized

- Assets worth over ₹1,000 Crore allegedly linked to Ajit Pawar have been seized. The Income Tax Department provisionally attached various properties allegedly linked to the Maharashtra Deputy chief minister. As per sources, five properties, including Nirmal Tower at Nariman Point, have been seized. The attached properties include a cooperative sugar factory, according to officials. The Income Tax Department officials said that the properties were bought illegally and said that the assets seized are ‘benami properties’. Watch the full video for more.
